Austin family portrait session

I was recently in Austin, TX  on one my many trips and I had the chance to photograph one of my favorite families.  Tex and Libby are dream children.  Not only are they adorable, but so sweet and well behaved.

We meet up at  Mueller Park right before sunset and the lighting was just perfect. Libby brought her tea set and Tex brought cars and airplanes.  We hung out as they showed me their toys and how they worked.  Then the whole family joined in for some amazing photos.  I am super pleased with this session.  Love love love.

Zach & Maria | get married

Yeah for love!  Zach & Maria had an amazing ceremony and reception at the hollywood presbyterian church.  The chapel is amazing.  beautiful!  They weren’t too bad looking either.

Pastor Tim did an stellar job starting their lives together as man and wife.   Everyone was completely touched and excited.  Then we went to the reception where Zach and Maria had a spotlighted first dance followed by well wishers and cake.  And l won’t forget the awesome food, but do I ever forget food?!. They ended the night being driven away in a balloon filled car. (of love)

Mike & Margaret | wedding

New year’s day, I got to spend with Mike and Margaret in Laguna Beach.  There fabulous wedding was held at the Tivoli Terrace.  Perfect spot for a wedding.  They take care of almost everything and do it with a smile.

After the ceremony, we headed down stairs to dance and nosh on some amazing carrot cake. I mean it was good!  DJ Ryan Damron kept the beat up and lively. Mike’s little boy, Jack was keeping the party going too.  And did I mention there was carrot cake!

When you see this couple, it is so obvious that they are in love, so this wedding was truly a joyous occasion and just a real treat.
