Alyssa & Mike’s Austin Engagement

Greetings from Austin.  That’s the backdrop of this wonderful engagement session I did on my last trip to Texas.  Alyssa and Mike are set to be married this summer in beautiful Carmel, CA.  Mike has been a friend of the family’s since forever.  I am so excited for their wedding.

So being a proud Texan, I thought we should hit up at least one Austin landmark.  The Greetings from Austin mural near south congress seemed appropriate.  Of course then we had to actually go to south congress, and why not for candy and cupcakes!   Big Top Candy Shop is where we got our candy fix and some amazing pics!  So then we rounded out the day with cupcakes at Hey Cupcake down the street.  So sweet!

Also a big thanks to Antonio at Salon Intuitions for the amazing hair!

Erica & Evan @ the Luxe Hotel

Last month at the Luxe Hotel in Bel Aire, Evan and Erica said their “I do’s” in front of friends and family.  Lori, Laura and me where there to capture the fun.  Sara Jane from SJL Events went all out in planning their amazing event.

Oscar & Cristina | wed

Last month, it rained a lot.  But that didn’t stop Oscar and Cristina from saying their “I dos”, and in a big way!  They had a traditional catholic ceremony at Holy Family Church in South Pasadena.  Wow, what a beautiful church. After the ceremony, we headed to La Canada Flintridge Country Club.  The LCF room was decorated beautifully and the rainy sky set a beautiful backdrop outside.  Did I mention the delicious and amazing cake by Porto’s Bakery?  Well, where are my manners.  During the reception, the guest went silly in the super fun Sparkle Photobooth.  I was able to grab the bride and groom away for one quick photo with their personally decorated golf cart.  Perfect end to a wonderful day.  Click to view slideshow.

Bailey & Dave – Texas kinda love

On my last trip to Austin, I had the chance to photography my new pals Bailey and Dave.  They are so adorable.  She is a nurse and he is a firefighter, even cuter.  We chose the botanical gardens to be the backdrop for the portrait session.  What  a great choice.  This isn’t their engagement session, but hopefully soon:-)
