Recently one of my favorite little girls turned one year old. Her mom is a super party planner and came up with some amazing ideas for her photo session. There were balloons, pearls, pink ruffles and of course cake. We had such a good time and Giada was a trooper. I love watching her grow!
The santa monica pier is always a great place to take portraits. So many fun spots to explore and photograph. Megan had a vision and we were able to execute it fabulously. She had a fun baseball themed idea and beach picnic setup. She is a Gaints fan, while her fiance Mikie is a Dodger fan. I am sure they get teased alot for that!
Megan & Mikie are naturals in front of the camera, as you can tell. I can’t wait for their wedding next year in Camarillo!
Last month, I had an amazing time photographing Julia & Andy’s wedding at the fabulous Il Cielo in Beverly Hills. We started out with an intimate first look at the mother of the brides house. Andy was so adorable when he got his first look at his beautiful bride. You could tell he was just speechless.
I am now officially in love with Il Cielo. The decor, the ambiance, the food and the amazing staff. As the picture show, the ceremony was just gorgeous. Julia and Andy wanted a really informal wedding, so their first dance was just in the middle of the patio, with all of their friends around. love it! After that, there was food and speeches and just fun. Everybody danced. They stayed on the dance floor while they cut the cake. I couldn’t help but dance with the awesome 90s music they were playing. I can’t tell you the last time I heard New Kids on the Block.
Everything went so smoothly thanks to their amazing wedding planner, Hylah at HWS Events. What a fun day, but I will let the photos prove it.
